I had a complicated dental case. I had two growths in my jaw that were initially thought to have been abscesses (long story short they were not abscesses after all). I came to Dixie Oral for a consult and 3D imaging. Dr. Nielsen was very kind and thorough and created a treatment plan that I was comfortable with! He performed my surgery and sent samples off for biopsy and personally called me after my surgery to make sure I was doing alright- which I really appreciated! I developed an allergic reaction to some adhesive a couple days post-op and Dr. Nielsen was very prompt getting me back into the office and prescribing me a steroid to help clear it up. I highly recommend Dixie Oral and Dr. Nielsen, I'm so grateful for the care that I received!
I was impressed with all of the staff and especially Dr. Mizukawa. I had oral surgery to remove a problematic tooth and to prepare for an implant and everything went very smoothly. Dr. Mizukawa called me shortly after I returned home to make sure that everything was going well. After my implant was put in I had another appointment to make sure that everything was OK. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mizukawa and Dixie Oral surgery.

Dr. Nielsen and his Cedar City staff were incredible. I have been quite fearful of having dental work especially oral surgery. They all helped make my procedures a breeze. No pro lems, minor pain and an actual relief when all completed. If you need work done see Dr. Neilsen and his staff. They will take as good of care of you as they did for me.
Wait times are minimal, the office staff is friendly, and Dr. Mizukawa is knowledgeable and proficient. My family has been here three times for different surgeries and all have gone very well.
Dr. Mizukawa did a fantastic job on my son’s wisdom teeth extraction. No bruising and truly little to no swelling. We will for sure be bringing our youngest son when he’s due to have his done next year.
Great experience for our family! My daughter had eight teeth removed due to crowding. She struggles with sensory issues on a daily basis. The care she received was excellent and their awareness of her needs was apparent. She recovered well and the experience was positive for her and us.
We had the best experience with Dr. Mizukawa when he removed my twins’ wisdom teeth. The office staff was super friendly and helpful with getting appointments and insurance squared away. We brought our daughter in for two different procedures at once. She needed an expose and bond of a stubborn tooth that wouldn’t descend and her wisdom teeth out at the same time. From beginning to end Dixie Oral was super professional and caring. They helped us work out the insurance both before and after. Our daughter was well cared for during the procedure and healed quickly with the post surgery instructions. She is our third child to get wisdom teeth out. Dixie was by far a better experience than we had with our two boys in California.

Amazing experience. Was very concerned about getting an implant removed and Dr. Mizukawa was kind, patient, understanding and addressed all my concerns. Dr. Matthew Mizakawa is very professional, very skillful, and attentive and kind. I am glad I can use his great services. He's removed teeth for me, put in implants, and I now have a lower denture that is secured to the implants, that I am very happy with. He also removed a growth on my tongue and has done an amazing job. I recommend him highly.

Dr Matthew Mizukawa removed all four of my wisdom teeth and I recovered very quickly with minor pain and swelling! He always calls the night of the removal to make sure all is well which shows he truly cares for his patients. Two years later he removed my little sisters wisdom teeth and did an incredible job and did the same thing! A week after her surgery she got a minor infection and we left him a message on Saturday at midnight and Sunday morning he called and sent an antibiotic and is keeping up with us! Great experience!
I went to see Dr. Erik Nielsen, D.D.S. M.D.. He did a biopsy on my tongue 10 days ago. Not only did I get in fast, but he worked me into his busy schedule to do the procedure. He explained everything to me and my husband. He was so professional, A+ bedside service. If I ever need something done again... I definitely will be going back to him. His whole office was welcoming, the office was very clean. His assistants were also very professional and understanding. Cannot say enough good about him and his office staff !!!

Dr. Mizukawa is very personable and did an amazing job on a recent first time visit I had with him. The procedure I had done sounded like it was going to be painful. However, using only localized medicine, the entire procedure ended up going better than I could have ever expected and was not very painful this time around. His team was very nice and the final results are great.
